Renovations

Padel court

How do renovations work?

Padel has long been an established sport in the Netherlands. The pioneering clubs that built padel courts early on have contributed significantly to the sport's current popularity. Meanwhile, many of these padel courts are already 7 to 10 years old and therefore in need of renovation. To ensure that these courts continue to meet the highest playing standards, planned renovation works are inevitable over time, such as renovating padel courts and replacing worn artificial grass.

Allesvoorpadel, through a maintenance contract, carries out an annual inspection out to check the padel courts for unevenness.

Important points to consider during renovations

We are happy to help!

STEP FOR STEP

Thus, we realise an indoor padel court from design to completion.

We start with a technical assessment of your hall or shed. Here we look at height, available space, surface and routing around the courts.

Based on requirements and budget, we choose the right court model and work out a complete plan. Think about type of cage, artificial grass, lighting and any branding.

Our specialists provide full assembly and finishing. After completion, the track meets current standards and is immediately ready for intensive use.

Padel court renovations

At Allesvoorpadel, we specialise in the renovation of padel courts, from minor repairs to complete replacement of the playing surface. We carry out these renovations with an eye for quality, durability and playing comfort. Through a maintenance contract, we inspect the condition of the courts, check for unevenness, wear and tear on the artificial grass, drainage and the overall safety of the construction. Thanks to our many years of experience in padel court maintenance and artificial turf replacement, we can quickly and efficiently determine whether renovation is necessary and which solution best suits the situation.

Realising indoor padel court

Durable, professional and fully tailored to your location.

Artificial grass

Due to the limited size of a padel court, it is used more intensively than tennis courts or hockey fields, for example, which means that every square metre is used optimally. Our advice is to replace artificial grass after about 6 to 7 years. Overdue maintenance on padel courts may require replacement even earlier. Besides enhancing the playability, safety and water drainage of the court, renewing it will undoubtedly improve its appearance. Through a maintenance contract, Allesvoorpadel maintains the artificial grass of padel courts allowing replacement to be stretched.

Neoprene and other defects

Neoprene, the rubbery material that acts as a separation material between the glass and steel of padel courts, has a cushioning effect. We recommend renewing the neoprene after about 6 years. Over time, the neoprene can lose its cushioning properties, shift or be affected by organic contamination. This can lead to direct contact between the glass and steel, increasing the risk of glass breakage.

With the intensive use of padel courts, certain components require replacement over time. These include worn nets, mesh that bulges, worn artificial grass, subsidence or lighting that deteriorates over time. This kind of wear and tear not only affects the quality of play, but can also lead to unsafe situations for players.
