Ring foundation
Ring beam as foundation
A ring foundation consists of reinforced concrete. Our standard ring foundation is 40 x 40cm and is calculated by a Dutch structural engineer. The importance of good foundations is high when constructing a padel court. After all, there are demands on the courts and subsidence must be prevented. We believe it is important that you can enjoy the sport of padel without having to worry about the court. Even for projects on poorer soil, we can have soundings carried out and have the structural engineer calculate the best option for this particular location.
Padel sport increasingly popular: importance of padel court foundation growing
Padel is starting to gain huge popularity in the Netherlands. Not very surprising: the sport is fun, requires technique and is satisfying. The padel association is even recognised by the NOC*NCF! This does mean that there are also serious requirements for safety, among other things.
Features concrete ring foundation
A concrete ring foundation is installed as follows.
We make a cunet in which we place formwork.
From there, foam concrete is poured on the inside and outside.
When the foam concrete has dried out, the formwork is removed and we make the reinforcement in it and then pour the concrete.
The advantage of a ring foundation is that it can be used well in smaller spaces.
Structure of sand package
All our projects are built with a superstructure of M3C sand with a drainage system. The drainage is round 65 mm with a PP casing. It is spaced 4m1 apart and is connected to the main drainage track by means of 315-mm through drains.
